El Ballet Nacional Sodre (BNS), bajo la dirección artística de María Riccetto, tiene el agrado de informar de su próxima AUDICIÓN INTERNACIONAL, dirigida a bailarines y bailarinas para la Temporada 2027. Se buscan bailarines con base técnica clásica y también formación contemporánea.

La AUDICION INTERNACIONAL constará de una preselección mediante video. Luego de esta etapa se comunicarán los seleccionados para la audición presencial, la cual se realizará el día viernes 25 de setiembre de 2026 en el Auditorio Nacional Adela Reta del Sodre (Montevideo, Uruguay). Constará de una CLASE COMPLETA (barra/centro), y una VARIACIÓN CLÁSICA, la cual deberá traer preparada cada bailarín con su música correspondiente. Las eliminaciones se realizarán desde la instancia de la barra.

Período de inscripciones: Del 10 de julio al 10 de agosto 2026 inclusive.

La inscripción se realizará exclusivamente vía web.

Requisitos básicos:

• Formación en ballet clásico
• Para las bailarinas (fem.) se requiere una estatura mínima de 1,63 cm y en el caso de los bailarines (masc.) una estatura mínima de 1,75 cm.
• Se establece 18 años como edad mínima y 30 años como edad máxima.
• Enviar videos de una variación clásica y una contemporánea por separado para una instancia de preselección, se aceptarán solamente videos a través de link de YouTube.

National Ballet Sodre (BNS), under the artistic direction of María Riccetto, is pleased to announce its upcoming INTERNATIONAL AUDITION for dancers for the 2027 season. The audition is open to dancers with a solid classical technique foundation, as well as contemporary training.

The INTERNATIONAL AUDITION will consist of a pre-selection through video submissions. After this stage, the selected candidates will be contacted for the in-person audition, which will take place on friday, september 25, 2026, at the National Auditorium Adela Reta of Sodre (Montevideo, Uruguay). The in-person audition will consist of a COMPLETE CLASS (barre/center) and a CLASSICAL VARIATION, which each dancer should bring prepared with the corresponding music. Eliminations will begin during the barre phase.

Registration period: From July 10th to August 10th, 2026 (inclusive).

Selected applicants for the in-person audition will be notified by email.

Registration will be exclusively online.

Basic Requirements:

• Classical Ballet training.
• Female dancers must be at least 1,63 cm in height, and male dancers must be at least 1,75 cm in height.
• The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 30 years.
• Submit videos of one classical variation and one contemporary variation separately for the pre-selection stage. Only YouTube links will be accepted for video submissions.
